The Skin of the Fish

Hello!
I was wondering whether eating the skin of a fillet of fish or throwing it away has much difference to calories consumed. For lunch I had a fillet of seabass. I did not eat the skin of it. Will this affect the caloric content of my meal or not?
Are there benefits / drawbacks of eating the skin?

When cooked properly, the skin of the fish is the most delicious part. So you missed out.
As far as nutrition, I've heard that it has the highest concentration of omega 3's, so by not eating the skin, the fish may be somewhat less nutritious, but you ate fewer calories. Depends on what you're looking for, I guess.0 -

I would hardly say I missed out. It's only a meal.0
