I just had a nice and tasty yogurt parfait:
100 cal Fage non-fat yogurt
120 cal slivered freshly toasted almonds 20g
33 cal cheerios, 9 g
64 cal 1 tbs honey
105 banana
The thing is, when I have a 410 cal almond croissant from Pret and coffee, I am not hungry until late lunch time.
I know I can have a croissant instead, but only occasionally, being on reduced calories I can't afford to consume 400 of nutritionally devoid ones on a regular basis. I know my healthy breakfast gives me nutrition and a balance of good fat and protein from almonds and calcium, but man, why do I feel like eating after these 400 cal and not the other?

Because of the fat content. Fat is filling.
This is why i can eat like 1/4 peice of cheesecake and be like NOOO TOO FULL. MUST STOP! But i can easily eat an entire angel food cake. XD0
