over 50 and have a lap band?

Anyone out there that is over 50 and has had or will be having a lap band put in that might want to chat?

    Hi...I'm 56 and am thinking seriously about the lap band. I've had the initial consultation, and am taking steps to do it. Are you thinking about getting one too?

    Hi, I turned 50 three days ago and had my little lapband fitted on 23 October 2012. LOVING IT!!!

    For the first time ever, the weight is coming off with the hard work and do I have control over my weight...

    Losing slowly but steadily and will have some loose skin issues, but NOTHING compared to the issues of being morbidly obese!

    I'm 52 and was banded 11/28/2012. I love it! I'm off of my insulin pump and that was a main goal. I feel fantastic and have loads of energy. It is just a tool, not magic. I can lose weight, just needed help keeping it off and support, which I get oodles of from my bariatric center.
