These darn hips of mine..

Sooo I purchased a sample size wedding dress (yay for discounts!) that's about 1 size smaller on top and 2 sizes smaller on the bottom for me.
I know you can't really "spot reduce", but do any of you have good tips (that you have used and have worked) on tightening and reducing the glute area??
I love my squats and have started running 3-4x a week. But is this enough to lose my stubborn bum over the next few months?
(I have 7 months until the wedding...but bikini time is much sooner than that!)

Just be consistent. You CAN'T change the way you're genetically built. You CAN reduce body fat with consistent calorie deficit.

You have enough time. Get on a heavy lifting routine in addition to cardio, in addition to a stellar diet.
I carry ALL my extra weight in my hips, butt and thighs and thought I would never get rid of my "child bearing hips" but I have reduced them many inches by squats, deadlifts, step ups w/ leg raises, lunges, etc.. You can't completely change your genetics but you can reduce them substantially with time and effort.0 -
I'm also bottom heavy and what changes the shape most for me is running. That combined with squats/lunges and the results are great! Good luck!0

Same, and what someone else said about consistency.0 -
