I posted in the 40-50 topic, however, it is so busy and moving fast I decided to put myself MORE "out there" and step way from my comfort zone. I would like to try to find some new MFP friends that are like me with similar goals and lifestyles to help me stay motivated and to bounce off ideas and recipes and anything else that keeps us all going.
I'm almost 44. Single, but in a good, healthy and happy relationship. I work from home with my own interior design and furniture resale business. My only son just turned 24 and lives away from home. I am horrible at getting in the exercise. I was very active when I was younger but have slacked so far off. Trying to get that back on track little by little.
I will be having major surgery at the end of February and so I'm trying hard to get 15 lbs gone before I can have no activity at all. I will be very restricted for 6-8 weeks. My total weight loss goal is 23 lbs and if anyone has suggestions for keeping on track ( without just relying on not eating) while recovering from surgery I'd love to hear them.

Hi Melanie, feel free to add me. I really need input on recipes! I typically work out at 6:15 pm and not home until 08:00 pm so tough to put things together once in a while that are healthy when I starving and ready to eat ASAP. Anyone else feel free to add me as well!0
