strength training calories

new to fitness pal! Why are the calories burned during strength exercises not applied?? or am i doing something wrong??

  • Hi. I'm not new on MFP, but this is my first post. As far as weight lifting calorie burn to count, you have to add it in under cardio. There are a lot of posts about why this is wrong, but I add the calories burned in into my cardio every other day. HTH

    I ALWAYS wear my HRM for any kind of exercise, even weight lifting. It's more accurate than anything else.
