Grams of fat

I went over grams of fat goal by 12 but my calories are in check. Is this ok?

Thank you for posting this question. I have gone over almost every day since I started just 2/12 weeks ago. My calories are always under or on. Is 30grams of fat too low of a goal? I am not afraid of fat but I am trying what is being advised for me.

Dietary fat doesn't make you fat. Excess calories (energy) does.

Fat does make a difference no matter the calorie deficit, depending on what kind of fat you're eating. As long as your saturated fat levels are staying at or below the recommended 7% of total daily calories (no more than 10%) and the rest of the fat is mono- or poly-unsaturated fat, then I wouldn't worry too much about a moderate amount of excess fat.

Absolute non-sense. Peer-reviewed studies to prove this or did you hear it on Dr. Oz?
