Nope. Just another day. If Valentin'e Day happens to fall on a Saturday or Sunday, we might go out. I usually just get her a card and she usually does the same.
I treat her like she is the most important person in my life everyday (because she is), so we don't feel the need to make some grandiose gesture 1 time a year.0 -
I am working nights next week so not a problem for this single

I threw a crisp new Benjamin the way of this corporate holiday. Just doing my part in a bad economy.0

What's to panic about? Buy a card, eat dinner, perform oral sex. Day over.0

Oh...and I almost never buy Flowers on Valentine's Day or Mother's Day. Irritates me that the Florists bump the prices up. Although, I do like to send flowers to my wife's work when there is no special occassion.
***Important note to you guys -- ALWAYS send the flowers to her work. She may deny it or play coy, but the only thing she likes better than getting flowers is having her co-woprkers and/or friends witness it.0 -
I'm just excited to get loads of free beer and have a free pass at banging the guy I've been "trying" not to bang.0

No panic here. The kids and I will have heart shaped pancakes for dinner and we'll watch a movie...while eating chocolate of course! I always get them some Valentine's candy.0

This imo is the way it should be and not just a one day thing.0 -

I'm 31 and my mom still picks up a box of chocolates for me and my sister. lol (we also still get stockings at Christmas and a Easter basket, we have told her that we are now too old for such things but I think it falls on deaf ears.)0 -
