Do you eat your meals at the same time everyday?

This question may have already been asked, but I haven't found the topic.
Anyway, for some reason, I think I need to eat at certain times of day. Breakfast at 9, lunch at 12, snack at 3, and dinner around 6.
I was told to stop doing this and only eat when I'm hungry. Hello, I'm always hungry ::bigsmile:

I eat around the same time every day, because that's what works with my family's schedule.
My body doesn't care what time it is.0 -
We are creatures of habit. I would assume that the majority of people in the world eat on their own schedule.

During the work week I do within a half hour or so. On weekends or days off, no. On days off, not only do I not eat at the same time every day, I don't even always eat the same number of meals.0

Yeah I suppose I do, but it's because that's when I get hungry. I do 5-6 small meals so I eat every 2-3 hours when I'm getting hungry. I do get kind of bent out of shape when I have to adjust it for whatever reason though (like silently in my head, nobody would know haha)0

I eat at the same times every day. It keeps me on track while I'm at work. I pack my lunch/snacks so I need to eat them throughout the day or when I get home I'll have a ton of calories left and stuff my face with unhealthy stuff. Just do what works for you, I don't think it really matters. I've seen people on here say they eat 900 calories at 10:00 at night before they go to bed.0

I wish! I'm in vet school, and my schedule is different every day - sometimes I'm at home all day and I can eat whenever I want, some days I'm in surgery from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., which feels like a mini Hunger Games! Next year we'll be doing overnight shifts and being on call and all sorts of even weirder hours, which I'm not looking forward to.
I feel like it definitely helps me when I'm on a regular schedule though, I know when I'm going to eat next and usually what I'm going to eat, so I don't eat random snacks or get so hungry that I stuff my face with any food that's around.0 -
I eat at (for the most part) at 9am (breakfast), 12pm (lunch), 3pm (snack), 6pm (dinner), and 9pm (if I'm hungry I have a late snack). I get hungry every 3 hours so that's why I set it that way. I have a timer to remind me since sometimes I forget to look at the time and then I'm EXTREMELY HUNGRY! If you're not hungry don't eat, but if you are then it's fine!0

Yeah, when I'm at work I don't really have a choice ha.
Breakfast @ 8:30am
Lunch @ 12:00pm
Dinner @ 6:30pm
But on weekends it differs slightly x0 -
Dinner is pretty much scheduled for 6pm but for other meals I eat when I'm hungry. I'm mostly a grazer. Breakfast is a bowl of cereal, but lunch is more like several small snacks between 10:30 and 4:00.0

During the school year/work week.....Yes.
Summer and weekends.....whenever it works into whatever else I am doing.

I have a bad habit of forgetting to eat until it feels like my stomach is trying to make sweet love to my spine. You wouldn't think that by looking at me though. /shrug I eat whenever I remember to, so it's definitely not the same time every day.0

Eating every day at the same time is the best way to go! If you stay on track and keep eating at the same time every day, your brain will only start telling you you're hungry at those times instead of random times throughout the day. I was told this by my dietician and I did it myself and it's working out great0
