Has anyone heard of this weight loss tea: Cho Yung? I stumbled on a website about this tea and it sounds legit... I know there is no magic pill for weight loss but combined with healthy eating and exercise I'm wondering if there aren't pills/drinks out there that can help??

I know nothing about that drink. But my weight loss specialist registered nurse suggested that I take an over the counter supplement called 5HTP to help curb my appetite (and control my moods) during PMS. She said that it's ok to take it as needed on other days too when I feel a bit out of control. It is a precursor to Serotonin which aids in the regulation of mood, appetite, sleep, muscle contraction, and some cognitive functions including memory and learning. She told me to take 50-100 mg at one time up to 2-3 times a day with meals, as needed.
I don't actually use it as an appetite suppressant except during my TOM because I am doing fine on most days just by eating 6 small meals a day and by tracking what I eat here on MFP. But I did take it this morning for PMS when I noticed how irritated I got with my 3 year old daughter this morning. I was trying to do a yoga DVD, and she laid on the floor between my legs the whole time kicking my inner thighs to try to knock me over. I really lost my temper. So I turned off the DVD and took one of those little 5HTP pills.0 -

Thanks Waguchan... I've actually taken 5HTP as well but I don't remember why. Probably for my depression (I've tried so many things for my depression). It's funny you should mention that though as yesterday I was really struggling with my cravings (it is my TOM) and I was searching for how to deal with it.
