I got a virus on Saturday and have been out for almost a week now.
Is it likely that I have already lost a lot of endurance and muscle strength?
Does anybody recommend a good way to start getting back in the game?
I miss my workouts and healthy food so much but am still very sick and unable to stomach much food

No, you won't.
Just get better and get back to it.0 -
In about 4 days you'll start to regress, but it's slow. The biggest thing you may notice will be just getting your strength back up to par from being sick. You may feel fine but when you go to exercise you won't have the same level of intensity. It's not that you are suddenly out of shape or lost that much in a week, but that you just spent a week not keeping any food in your body and are probably slowly recovering from dehydration as well. Go easy your first day back out and don't expect too much. You may surprise yourself though.0
