Alright, thanks everyone Looks like I'll be starting a new diet plan tomorrow haha. I'll shoot for about 2k calories. thanks again!
It's great you're reaching out here, and I'm glad to see you're going to try to up your calories.
That being said, if you eat at your recommended caloric intake with a modest deficit (all the links and info you need are right here in this thread) and you are still feeling ill/bloated/whatever after a few days, please reach out to a healthcare professional and tell them what you told us.
Good luck!!0 -

No offense, but there is very little protein in those ingredients.0 -

You are a good looking lad and obviously don't have much to lose anyway. Don't ruin your health for the sake of that little weight. As everyone has said, eat more, and focus on health before weight loss, and health means getting adequate nutrition and keeping your strength up. Maybe have a go at body weight exercises or weight training if it is your appearance you are not happy with.0

I thought the 1200 minimum was for women, I thought MFP stopped at like 1500 for men.
Who wants to screw up their goals by testing their profile change?0 -

This is a fairly sexist thing to say, but when I see a post like this and it's from a dude, it just blows my mind.
Ha, sadly I too am guilty of sexism. I looked, saw it was a guy and went wtfimo.

Find your BMR/TDEE and feed yourself. Your body will thank you for not being such a food bully. Good luck :flowerforyou:0 -
Eat more nuts and nut butters. Lots of calories for little food since you're so "full" and "bloated."
And, ad nauseum, you're not eating enough, even if you could bring yourself to "stuff" yourself with 1200 calories a day.0 -

I've seen quite a few men eating 1200 calories (or less!) Idk if MFP will let it go that low or if it's something they custom set.0
