Reasonable weight loss goals

I was wondering what are some mini goals I can aim for over the next few months that i can be happy about when I achieve them. I originally weight 275 on Jan 17th and have since then lost 18 pounds and am 257. Last week I really exercised my butt off and got in a little more than 4 hours of exercise in, or 2800 calories burned. A note, I eat my exercise calories so my diet feels more sustainable. I am trying to lose 2 pounds a week right now, but I will probably go back to my original 1.5 pounds a week goal because it was much easier and satisfying.

Any tips on mini goals or things I can aim to achieve? I have a bad back for some reason so I never spend more than 15-20 mins on a treadmill walking, and some days I can use the eliptical for 45 mins but others i have to stop after 30. I use the recumbant bike when my back starts acting up. I live in Canada which limits my outdoor activities and is the reason I go to a gym.

I think losing 1 1/2 pounds a week is a terrific mini goal every week! Other goals could be lifting a bit heavier or walking/running a bit farther.

Goals to get faster or stronger or better endurance are great, but I definitely need something more than that. You can always set up nonfood rewards like books, trips, etc.. If you want something activity related try picking a new activity that you want to try and go for it. For example I really want to try kickboxing, but not until my legs and core are stronger.
