When doing a morning workout,,is it better to have your breakfast before or after you workout?

  • After unless you get sluggish from not eating before your workout
  • before would be best but you'd have to consume it at least 1 1/2 hours before you excercise for it to take effect and give you the energy you need to have the intensity you need to have an effective workout.

    I think it depends on the what the individual prefers and also the work out..

    For example , I would not be able to survive an intense cardio session or a heavy lifting session with no breakfast (and I don't think it would be recommended!!!)

    But if I was going for a 30 min walk, or light jog, .. I could go without breakfast.

    Ya know?
