The Weight Watchers was is my favorite but you have to be a member (or know someone who is who can get it for you). It's $40 but its the only one I've tried that has the best consistency & accuracy. And doesn't take expensive batteries! It's $40 but well worth it.

I've used a handful of different scales and the best one I've used, by far and away, is here:

    http://www.oxo.com/p-501-food-scale-with-pull-out-display.aspx

It's about twice the price of something like a little Escali (spelling) but in the just over two years that I've been losing weight, I've actually worn out a few scales because the buttons fail.

The Oxo is pretty well made (for a consumer product), the pull out display is useful, it's large enough to put a dinner plate on it, and it's backlit, to boot.
  • I have the Salton one. It's the best!
