Looking to lose 9 pounds...Oakland, CA

Hi everyone!

I joined last week in an effort to lose about 9 lbs. (GW: 120) I weighed 140 when I started running in November, and am now running about 7and a half miles on weekends. Through running I have lost 11 pounds.

I'd like to shed a few more so I can look leaner and run faster. My diary is public if you want to look around...but be forwarned: there were some decadent treats at the office in the past week, so there are some mega sweet bombs in there :)

    Great job. I would suggest setting your goals at 1 pound a week weight loss and giving yourself a few months to lose this weight. It's much harder to lose the last few. Just be patient and keep up with the running (that's really good).
