    With the username- "eatskinny" you may be attracting friends who have a goal to be skinny and will starve to get there. If you have a different mindset, then maybe think about changing your username. Not attacking your username, just pointing out what might be one of the problems. If it was my first thought, then it may be for others as well.

    Well, yeah, but the word "eat" is in there first. :laugh:

  • 600 calories a day? Thats starving... but there are a lot of people here that get on a high horse about eating too much or too little.

    Some days I eat 1200 calories (thats my minimum), some days I eat over 2000. I let my hunger dictate food intake. Its just as important to balance out protein, carbs, sugar etc.

    "Let me hear your body talk, your body talk". I forget who sings that song but thats what I do and I feel great and am losing weight.

    Please add me. It drives me banana's. I even put something in my profile that you need to eat or I will delete you. Needless to say, I have deleted a number of people.

    I have been EATING for two years now and am down almost 50 pounds. It works, just wish everyone got that.

    I totally understand your point. It is hard to try to do things right and slow when you see your news feed keeps announcing that all your friends are losing a lot of weight, and when you look at their diaries they net is below 800cals. It makes you ask yourself if you are actually doing things right. Oh well, you can add me if you want. I eat at TDEE -20% (1650) and no below my BMR of 1343.

    I am having chocolate and red wine right now! I may not be the best model though, as I have to make an extraordinary effort to get above 1400 a day.

    I try to talk to them, and then delete them.if they won't listen. I had one who was actually trying to live on like 80 calories a day and was exercising. Said the were "fasting"

    I EAT!! I do like a lot of the members do here the TDEE - 20% and the puts me at 1650 a day, which is a LOT of eating if im eating right - I am New around these parts and could use some good friends - So ADD me up!! :) We can do this!! :)

    I'm at 1900 a day eating at my TDEE-1000 calories and working out 6 days a week.

  • I eat when I want too & what I want to; from chips to chocolate - just smaller amounts. I exercise so I can indulge from time to time. My food choices typically center around recommendations from Dr. Oz based on my body type (apple) LOL! I am a foodie and love to watch food channel to get my recipes from the pros! I am taking the supplement Green coffee bean extract and it has really worked for me! January first I weighed in at 176 (5' 9") now I'm at 163!!! If any of this appeals to you, friend me!

    I eat normal stuff and exercise most days, no astounding weight loss but chipping away at it (I even had a jam doughnut today :blushing: )
