My FOOT!

This past summer I started rollerblading a trail... I would rollerblade about 3-3.5 miles than walk or run 3.5 miles back.. I now have this pain in my left foot in the arch at the top of my heel... I stopped rollerblading at the end of August and just jogged... My foot pain is constant. I take two weeks off running off and on but it is a dull pain that will not go away. I know I need to see a doctor but does any one else have experience with this kind of thing? When I run it doesn't really bother me that much.. But if I rest for a while and walk on it it hurts bad until I walk a bit.

could be planar fasciitis. As you said, go see a doctor. It's been six months and it still hurts.0

Sounds like it could be a bone spur and/or plantar flasciitis. You may need to look into some orthodic inserts (I have to wear them)...there are also a lot of stretches you can do...

I have plantar flasciitis and some small spurs around my ankle joint; they don't give me too many problems and as long as I maintain my treatment for my plantar flasciitis, it doesn't bother me too much. Definitely something you should have checked out by a podiatrist though.0
