I am looking for a few new ideas for work potlucks and gatherings. I always see junk food but would love some quick recipes that feed large groups of people.

I have been cooking for the last 18 years. I do enjoy to cook, but because I am a picky eater I cook picky as well. I also personally have a few food allergies so I am now learning to cook all over again. I know from experience that at every potluck I have ever gone to my stand by dishes are Macaroni Salad, something we call Johnson Salad in my house, and cake. I would love some croud pleasers that feed between 20-50 people.

My last work potluck I made a crockpot full of chicken chili. It was a hit. Took a bit of pre-planning as I had to cook the chicken the day before, but the final cooking stage was done at the office in the lunch room, and it was piping hot by go-time.

Dependent upon how much time you want to spend preparing for the potluck, there are a bunch of recipes that might fit the bill on
www.emilybites.com. I made the Buffalo Chicken Cupcakes for Superbowl and they were devoured! And wow are they ever filling. Also made the Southwestern Egg Rolls and they were a huge hit too.

Casseroles are always good but you've mentioned 20-50 people so I'd go with appetizers if I were you.
