Any tips for beating hunger

Hi. I'm also a newbie. I just started a few days ago. What I've been doing for now is just eating what I'd normally eat to get an idea while using the tracker what I'm accustomed to eating. I've found I've been eating about 1600 cals. a day. I have also been trying to eat a little less to see how it goes. I tried eating a low-cal frozen dinner. It was lousy and I still felt hungry. I've heard fiber filled foods may help but I'm not sure what would be some good ones. Any tips would be appreciated while I get adjusted here.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I do not find those meals filling at all. Ii get filled more with cooking myself some grilled boneless chicken breast and eating some veggies, brown rice. I make enough of the chicken to last a couple meals so that I can add it to salads. I don't know what it is about those meals, but it would probably take about three of those meals to fill me up.0
