So ive been using a pedometer for the past couple of days and today my day started at 8am and ended around 11pm. I work at a hotel in the social department so we do a lot of walking during the day. Anyway my pedometer reading at the end of the day was 19,293. I can easily shave off 100 or so of those but that's still a lot of steps. My question is how do i figure out my calories burned?

You don't. MFP is set up such that you should be figuring your calories burned from your job as part of what is called your "Activity Multiplier", which is set in your "profile" under "normal daily activities". I'd say based on what you did, you should change your activity multiplier to "active". That will allow you to eat more day in and day out. Use the "Exercise" tab to log stuff that is out of the ordinary for you or part of a regular exercise routine, not your work.0

Or you could get a fitbit and link it into MFP and it would automatically do the calculations for you.0
