Hungry for Food

I was home with a migraine yesterday so I decided to look at what was on Netflix and end up watching the documentary Hungry for Food. One thing that I took away from it was about nutrient and food we eat.
I always though just eat within your calorie stay within your marco and you'll be fine and you should lose weight. But they were saying if your body doesn't get the proper nutrient needed the body will stay in famine (aka starvation mode) and will hold on to the fat. It's not just about calorie you put in your body but also about the quality of food you put in your body. What do you guys think?

Absolutely! If all you eat is crap, but stay within your calories, guaranteed you won't lose or be healthy. Garbage in, garbage out comes to mind.0
