some help figuring this out please

Ok. so I found this trail mix that I like and it is fairly healthy. However I feel that if I make one similar to it or even one with other things in it, I could make a healthier version and over all more economical home made trail mix.
So here is the where I need help.
How do I go about determining serving size and calories after I have mixed all the ingredients together?

Measure and record each individual items nutritional information and add up the totals.
Mix all the inredients together.
Separate into serving size portions and divide the totals by the number of servings.0 -
create a recipe and then determine what a portion size is, measure out how many servings you get per batch you make and the recipe builder will give you the calories0
