One week lower calories

Hey guys just wondering what your thoughts on occasionally lowering cals for a week? Currently eating around 2000-2300 for over a month with not much in terms of losses. Wondering what going to 1600 cals for a week and then returning back to 2000 would do? Any reprocussions or difficulties with this? Anyone try it? I work out 4-5x/week , lifting/cardio and eating pretty clean. Love to hear your thoughts.

What do you have your weight loss set at--1/2, 1, 1 1/2 or 2 pounds a week? If you are not having "much" success, you may have it set for the amount you are losing. Also are you exercising the number of times a week you put in? Check your settings. Good luck.0

From what I have read on the forums...try a 100-200 calorie drop instead. So...1800-1900? But that is a blind guess.0

More information is needed as asked before what is your weight loss goal set at? Without knowing that, not much more can help. If you are currently using MFP's numbers for calories you may want to switch to this approach http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 where you include your intended exercise calories and don't eat them back. It gives a number to shoot for that is consistent.0
