Hi all,

I've been on here a while now, but was coming and going. Until a few days ago, I'd been struggling with motivation etc. to get my act together. I can't explain what happened, but things suddenly clicked for me. I've been logging and exercising. I am following a eating program - not just counting calories. (Now don't laugh, but it's the Dr. Phil program.) It's pretty basic, 3 protein, 2 carbs (for women), 2 diary, 2 fruit, as many veggies as you like and a healthy fat. The first 2 weeks is a jumpstart which cuts the carbs down 1 serving. I like to run, and I can't help but think about how much easier it is going to be once I've lost some of this weight! I'm looking for friends who log in everyday and provide support and encouragement, I'll do the same in return!!

Hope my fellow MFP'ers are having a wonderful day!!!

Feel free to add me! I lost more than 100 pounds a few years ago before life through me for a loop. I lost my support system, my motivation, even my job. But I'm back at it lately and feeling very encouraged by my renewed dedication.

That sounds like the first program Weight Watchers ever had. I thought it was a pretty good one, actually. Feel free to friend me if you want.
