After you eat something you shouldn't have...

Alright, so tonight I had two pieces of a 2X3 inch square of plain cheesecake. I'm not quite sure what the calorie count for that is (I estimated about 470 total, though I might be off some) as well as an oatmeal raisin cookie (130 cal). While this only equaled out my total daily calorie count to be about 1550, I still feel very guilty for this slight binge. But, I'm telling myself not to stress too much. I came back and did 15 minutes of jumprope with 5 minutes of stretching and tomorrow I plan on doing a kick *kitten* workout. Any suggestions on what could burn a ton of the fat that I just acquired? Running? lifting? Some sort of interval training? Please be specific.

Easier said than done but don't feel guilty. There will always be temptations in life. Personally, if I don't eat some of the "good stuff" occasionally, I will splurge and eat way more than I should. Tomorrow is a new day!

There is no reason to feel guilty when you eat something you enjoy! Cheesecake is awesome and a perfectly fine treat once in a while. Sure, if you really want to burn some extra calories you can add some cardio, but if you are right at your calorie target, why do you need to? It fits into your day! Personally, I aim for having at least 80% of my choices be healthy ones. It ensures that I meet my nutritional needs, but allows me to have a small piece of cheesecake or cookie from time to time.

Be kind to yourself when you have an occasional treat.
