I would like to incorporate more beans into my diet - any suggestions on ways to eat them?

    Bean salad with low fat dressing, Baked beans sparing on the brown sugar.. However you like em I'd try and use calorie conscious ingredients.
  • Throw black beans on a salad, or use them instead of ground beef in a taco.

    I simmer black beans and add taco seasoning - then eat them wrapped in a lettuce or cabbage leaf with a little Greek yogurt and a bit of cheese! YUM!

    I've also made them with curry and they're delish!

    A fast and easy salad is a can of green beans, a can of kidney beans and a can of chick peas - drained and rinsed, tossed with a little balsamic vinaigrette!

    Check out ranchogordo.com for a new lease on beans. The simpler the preparation the better and they are so good for you.
