Restarting desperately need to lose weight.

Hello everybody. I joined last year hoping to lose weight but gave up... lost my job back in November and I have stayed home all this time living a sedentary life without exercising. I gained 30 pounds to my already super heavy set weight (290 pounds).
I started keeping track of my calories and started exercising with "LES MILLS PUMP Workout" again two days ago. I don't know if my food diary is accurate because of home made soup with Moose meat yesterday was packed with rice and pasta.
I know that we don't lose weight right away but I gained 2 pounds since I first weighed myself again two days ago. I have been drinking lots of water and I need to adjust my sodium intake... not worried about fluctuating weight day to day but I am curious and anxious to start to see the weight come down. Anybody know how long they had to wait before they started seeing results?

I joined last year aswell, and didn't lose any weight then. But i'm back and im humbled and i'm ready to be patient. I don't care if it takes me four months, or a year and a half. I'm gonna do it. My goal right now is just ten lbs. Thats 1/5 of what im gonna do in total. We can all do this! Just a little patience. Good luck to all! Cheers! P.S. I'm totally brand new to the online forum so i would really appreciate friend requests from anybody interested. Have a good one!0
