I really want to rejoin the awesome gym by my house but I can't commit to that yet...I have a track record of joining a gym and never going.

This gym is so fantastic. Everything is kept clean to hospital level standards, they have a ton of classes, a pool/hot tub/steam room, 6 free training sessions.........ugh.

But it's like $75/month. I can afford it but I don't want to waste the money since I'm trying to save up to buy a house this year. I may get a discount through my employer but it's still at least $50/month.

Maybe after I get closer to my goal I'll do it for the weights and stuff they have there.

*sigh*

Hopefully you are doing some form of exercise even if you're not apart of a gym. A gym is not the only way to get fit..... you can focus on diet and still lose weight. Exercise whether at home, outside, or in a gym takes commitment, don't waste money on something until you decide to stick with it.

I work 12 hour shifts so on my days off (3 or 4 per week) I've been walking/hiking for about 2 hours. Granted it's only been since the 6th but hopefully I'll keep up with that lol

ETA: And I've been eating between 1200-1450 calories a day when I'm not exercising, I've been trying to eat back some of the exercised calories but I haven't exactly been clearing 1200 when I do.
