Ok so if I put a can of cream of chicken and a cream of mushroom soup with 6 frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts do I count the whole two cans of soup? I dont use any of it really once it is cooked but maybe two tablespoons.

My thought would be to count it separately, but then I eat more of the soup so don't know for sure. Very good question. I would love to see the answers also.

What I do is to add all the calories of everything I put in the crock, then I divide it into equal portions and then divide the total number of calories by how many portions I got out of it. then you know how many calories there are in how much you eat. Hope that helps.

I agree, just calculate your entire recipe as portions. Even though you aren't eating the soup, things like sodium will still get absorbed into the chicken and you want to account for that.
