Need some help with macros for sugar and fiber

I'm not having much trouble staying under my calorie goal, however, I am having trouble figuring out the "MACROS". Currently, I am 159.5 lbs and my goal weight is 135. I set my main macros to 40% Carbs, 30% protein and 30% Fat and 1400 calories per day.
However, I've been reading things about how using "low fat" products really just increases one's sugar intake. I'd like to know what those non-frontpage macros should be set to. Specifically, sugar and fiber.
When I was on Weight watchers a few years ago, they preached the benefits of eating high fiber foods that would make you feel fuller. Back then everything was "points" so I knew how to figure it out. And eating higher fiber stuff DID work for me due to being able to not feel hungry between meals. But here with it being percentages and/or grams, I'd like to know what a good percentage or grams of Fiber is. Or doesn't it really matter as long as you are under your calories?
I'm interested in what others have set these at.

Does anybody set a macro for sugar? You have to go into the settings and add it as one of the things that will show, but it is there.0

I increased my fibre goals to accommodate this. You can increase how many grams to eat each day. Sugar wise it's hard on MFP because it would be nice to have a break down of refined sugar VS sugar you get from fruit. I almost always seem to go over the MFP sugar goal. I just increased it. Unless you are diabetic or aren't doing any exercise at all I don't think going over a bit on sugar is a big deal but I'm no expert. I'm losing weight and trimmingmoffminches so it seems to be working for me. I have my macros set the same as you.0

Macronutrients are carbohydrates, protein, and fat. Sugar and fiber are not macronutrients. They are subsets of the carbohydrate macronutrient.
