How do we add homemade food to our diaries? Do we have to input into the actual data base every food not found?

You have to add up all the calories in your recipe and measure how many servings you get from it. Then go into add a new food, name your recipe, put in calories and servings. Its a pain , but once its entered , you wont have to do it again.0
