smoothies and fiber?

Does the blender decimate the fiber in smoothies (fiber from the fruit, flaxseed, oats etc) to the point where they no longer low down the digestion of fruit sugar? I love smoothies, but concerned about the effects of fructose from sugar on my body.
And if they do decimate the benefits of the fiber (in regards to no longer slowing digestion of sugars) are they still worth it occasionally for the amount of nutrients/protein/and pure yumminess you can pack into them?

Its better a home made smoothie with sugar. I prefer a honey and maple syrup because its natural.0

This may or may not help I eat some almonds, some PB or a 1 ounce cheese or even avacado before high carb or sugar. I KNOW fat slows the sugary impact.0

Get one of those little coffee grinders for your flax and grind it separately.
It's worthless to you if you don't. Flax won't grind in the blender. And you can't digest whole flax seeds so none of the nutrients go into you.
Not sure how you decimate fiber. Make it smaller, maybe, but it's still fiber.
A juicer will separate juice and fiber, but a blender just mushes it up.0
