I have a 6 jars of brown rice syrup, that was given to me. I would greatly appreciate any recipes you have or suggestions on using brown rice syrup. I have no clue what to do with it.

does no-one on here use brown rice syrup? I need help!? don't know what to do with the stuff
  • I guess nobody knows anything about brown rice syrup....or noboy wants to talk about it, lol. I asked a similar question a week or so ago and had the same response.

Let me tell you what I found out by doing my own research. The jar I got says you can use 1 1/4 c syrup for one cup sugar, using 1/4 cup less of another liquid needed in recipe. I used it to make cookies. They initially came out of the oven great. When I later bagged them up, I found the getting gooey, and they continue to get gooier. I have some syrup left and I think I will try it in a muffin recipe. I am guessing it will help to keep the muffins moist.

You can use the BRS on anything you can put syrup or honey on.

    Hope this helps
