Hi there.. got some questions...

Hello all I'm new here. A friend told me about thsi place and I registered because I was curious as to what calories/carbs/protein/iron etc I am eating with my everyday diet.

So I hope this is the right place to ask a question. When I log my food the food diary gives me a daily goal of calories, carbs, fat, protein and iron.
What are these measured in? Calories is pretty straightforward, as is I guess carbs. Are protein and fat meausred in grams? What is iron measured in? It gives me a target amount of 100 iron per day, but I know that women are recommended to have 14.2mg of iron per day. So what is this 100 number?

Thanks for help :)

Fat, Carbs, and Protein are all given in grams. Cholesterol, sodium, and potassium and given in MG. Vitamins A & C, as well as calcium and iron are given as % of what you should have daily.

You're welcome, and good luck! At the bottom of your food diary, you can click on "View Full Report" (or worded something like that) for more info. Also, my iphone app gives more specific info on all those measurements too :)
