holiday: how can I avoid falling off the wagon?

Hello darlings from MFP Community.
Next week I'll be going away for a week holiday in Amsterdam.
I have been mentally preparing myself to keep in track of my eating and exercising. I have acquired a Fitbit and a tiny notebook to note down all that I eat and, when available, the calories as well.
When I am away on holiday I take no taxis and avoid public transportation. I try to walk everywhere, so that should keep me on top of things as far as exercise goes. I also try to keep my indulgences to food I can only find in the area I am visiting.
Do you think that should be enough? Does anybody have any other suggestions?
Thanks guys.
