Hiya
Been on the 1200 calorie diet since 2nd week of January 2013. Starting weight was 13 st, now rought 12st 4lb. I just feel with attending bootcamp twice a week- giving it everything and twice gym- cardio and studio I havent lost much!
Im not thinking it will drop off over night but surely I would have lost more by now?
Problem area is stomach pouch and inner thighs.
Any ideas?

I've had this problem myself, it's because your body's grown accustomed to having 1200, so you won't lose any more.
To quick-start your metabolism, have a bit of a binge day, that sounds bad, but it always works for me and I can lose up to two pounds by the next morning. (:0 -
ll funnily enough ive gone over my calories three times this week by atleast 400 cals a day!
TO be honest I cant reduce to 1000 cals....id starve! x0 -
Up your calorie amount0

it's entirely possible that 1200 kcal is too little. I don't speak "stone" but I'm guessing you ought to eat a bit more.0

For your troublesome areas of your body all you can do is exercise those and try to build up some muscle ...eat at a calorie deficit.
this is a very short answer, but if you go to the search bar in the community tab, you will find lots of great information if you type in your question?0 -

So you have lost 10lbs in 3 weeks and you are unhappy with your rate of losses? I suggest you remove a limb if you want to lose faster? Seriously though, how much did you expect to lose in 3 weeks? You don't think 10lbs is good going?? I think its a brilliant start personally. I have no idea why you wouldn't think the same?0

You need to increase your calories now as your metabolism is getting used to the 1200 along with a lot of rigorous exercise so is starting to store fat (camel mode) in order to lose weight you need to eat more but make sure that they are the right foods, low fat, low sugar, no bad carbs and plenty of protein.
I would suggest doing two weeks of 1400 cals per day and then see how you get along after that.
Hope this helps.0 -

Hmmm I totally understand what you mean....just the fact for the last weeks ive lost nothing!
10lb in roughly 5 weeks
HAHAHAH remove limb eh!0 -
You may want to try taking measurements. I have found that sometimes i overlook my results because I don't take into account that muscle mass weighs more than fat. Measurements & photos will help show progress when the scales don't show any.
Also, what kind of calories are you taking in? Protein/Carb/Fat It may be that your body has gone into starvation mode. eating muscle instead of building & repairing itself.0 -

I'm not trying to be snarky or rude at all, but your ideas on what not too eat are a little outdated. Fats are not the enemy. Sugar isn't bad either, in moderation. Bad carbs? I don't even know what bad carbs are? That's pretty vague info. The protein bit I do agree with though.0 -

5 weeks? Thought you said you began 2nd week of jan? That would make it 4 weeks at the maximum?0 -
You eat way to little.
Thats around the cylories your body needs if you dont move a.bot all day.
Up to about 1400. Eat back the exersice calories.
Calculate your BMR and never go under it or you wont loose weight and coirse harm to yoir body.0 -

^^^^ up your daily calories. 1200 is NOT enough.
are you set to lose more than 1lb a week. If so change it to 1 lb a week to lose. And try eating at that for a few weeks. But truely you should at least be eating your BMR. <<<google BMR calc0 -
Thanks guys, hard to know whats right for yourself x0
