50yrs+ 1kg monthly fluid gain

This is a big demotivator for me every monthly cycle - I mean I know it's only fluid and will go, but it can be a whole KG. So I think what's the point in trying to lose weight, comfort myself -with food!-, and then lose impetus with my healthy eating goals.

Then I get all fired up again after the next cycle and 1kg fluid loss again:/ etc etc
Anyone out there found a way through this?
