Fat.

Why does MFP say that I need around 14/15 grams of sat fat and nothing of Poly and monounsaturated?
Isn't sat bad and poly/m a bit good for you? I'm fricking confused. Lol.

I have read several different "takes" on this. There is not a generally agreed upon amount of mono/poly unsaturated fats that are recommended for a diet. What I try to do is simple. Aim for a goal amount of fats and try to make the majority of them the "healthy" fats. Eating fats does not make you fat at all and in fact it is an important part of any diet. Years ago "saturated fat" was thought of as a terrible thing, but like anything if you use it appropriately and in proper balance for your body and lifestyle you will be good to go. That said, don't eat an entire slab of bacon now! :)

    Saturated fats are all good.

Even if they weren't, no ne could take my red meat and bacon away from me.
