Your favorite brand of cross trainers and why

Looking to spend around 50-60 in the next few days. Curious what you like and the reasons. I know Brooks is pretty much the best athletic shoe but it's way out of my price range right now. If I get serious in the future I will invest in them. Right now I am doing Shred, Turbo Kick, elliptical and c25k

    I have newbalance minimus cross trainers. Love them. Very light, durable. Doesn't give me an unnatural gait from heel drop.
