Just thought I'd say hello!

Just began here yesterday, but I've been trying my best to eat healthy for about 3 weeks now. At first, it wasn't just an experiment to see how I would feel without gluten, dairy, and high-fructose corn syrup. My headaches subsided, and I lost two pounds at first, so that was nice. But now I am focused on weight loss. I could stand to lose 10-15 pounds. The weight only gathers at my stomach, making me look disproportioned and, at times, quite pregnant. At the moment I am trying a metabolism boosting program I saw on Dr. Oz (I am skeptical!): eat complex carbs for 2 days, then proteins, for 2 days, then healthy fats for 3 days. Repeat cycle for the next 3 weeks. If anyone else has tried this method, I'd like to know how they fared.

Also, I am quite lazy when it comes to exercising. But I am certain that I can overcome this. Heck, a month ago I was super-sizing all of my meals at McDonald's, and now I am reading labels and weighing portions, so miracles do happen. :)

Anyway, I'm glad to be here. Thanks!
