Tons. And I'm sure some people will chime in. But the awesome thing is the number of people who are controlling/managing their type 2 and prediabetes by making dietary changes and find that their doctor can take them off their medication. Good luck with your health!

My husband is a type 1 diabetic, he doesn't post, but I'm intimately aware of his daily exercize/food struggles if you want to add me or talk :) We have gotten his long term insulin cut in over 1/2 and reduced his short term meal insulin through diet and exercize...we're still reducing it even though the doctor said it will never go away. Weight loss is essential for him because of the heart condition caused by his diabetes.

HI! I am a T2....diagnosed May 2011. MFP has been a godsend to me....I know I couldn't have lost the weight I have OR been able to control my BS without it. I think you will find it a great help, too!

I can second that, an excellent group. Lots of support and great feedback. I found it very useful when first diagnosed 6 months ago.
