weight gains on gabapentin

Hi. I am on relatively low doses of Tegretol (200 x2) and Gabapentin (300x3) but I have found I have gained nearly 20 lbs since October. This discovery is what finally got my butt on this site!
Anybody have any success stories about losing weight on these meds? I'm worried they will make my weight loss journey much harder.
