My first NSV, but it's scale related so does it still count?

So, I started the new year at 350, and joined MFP a week or two later, don't exactly remember. Well one thing that has been frustrating for me is that my home scale tops out at 330lbs (it will actually go up to 335-336 or so before it gives an error message)
I started seeing good results but wanted to motivate myself a little, and one of my favorite things to do was drink a couple high abv% IPAs with a lady friend of mine. I would always count the calories in the beer and due to a health condition I couldn't drink more than 3 beers with having issues. It isn't the alcohol that caused me trouble but the actual beer itself. So combine that with me being a 6'5" 350 lb Irishman and I was destined to go for the beers with higher alcohol percentages, my favorite is 11.5% and there are only a couple under 7% that I will drink. So any way I decided to not drink beer until I could use my home scale, and come in under it's posted upper weight limit.
Just about an hour ago I hopped on it out of curiousity, knowing I wasn't at 330 yet, but what do you know I didn't get the "ERRR" across the readout, it said 334!! And I just ate something too
Now my friend is out of town until the middle of next week, but I'm hoping that as long as I keep up the hard work at the gym and stick to my diet I'll be able to celebrate with her when she gets back.
ETA:
I know it's scale/weight related, but it isn't the amount I've lost, it's that I can use my scale at home instead of the gym. They could read very different numbers so I may not have lost much in the last week or so, but I haven't tried my home scale in almost 3 weeks
