Egg and oil substitutions?

OK, I have a blueberry muffin mix (Marie calendars), and I'm wondering what i can replace the eggs and oil with.
it calls for one egg and 2 tablespoons of oil(and milk, but I'm using almond milk). I heard you can replace oil with apple sauce, but I'm not sure what to use to replace the egg with.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well, these muffins aren't just for me, but my grandparents too. My grandmother is sensitive to eggs, even in baked goods, so I'm trying to find a replacement for her as well. (I do the cooking for them, so its some good knowledge to have:))0

I have used ener-g egg replacer for years. There is an online recipe to make your own but I have not had success with that.
http://www.ener-g.com/egg-replacer.html there is a locator on the site to buy locally.0 -
I tried telling her about the egg replacement. She's skeptical. (She's also 77 with dementia)
I'll still give it a go though. Thank you!0 -
It sounds weird but I use either baby food or applesauce as a substitute.
You can keep in the oil and substitute the eggs for a blueberry baby food or an applesauce.0 -
if you're using a cake mix, try using diet sierra mist or something of your choice and don't use eggs OR oil. I did this with the valentine cupcakes I recently made. 70'ish calories a piece! And they were delicious!0

Im with kmarc- you can replace oil and eggs with just soda... I think only diet soda though??
It works best with premix - like a cake/cupcake mix.
Google it- you will save calories and enjoy moist and delicious cake/cupcakes without knowing the difference0 -
a can of diet soda.
I do "soda can cupcakes" all the time.
I mix one package of the SuperMoist cake mix with a can of my favourite diet soda, line muffin tins with cupcake liners, pour in batter, and voila!
They average between 100-115cals per cupcake (no icing)0
