    If her doctor approves... a pedal exerciser. they can be used by arms as well as the legs. stretching, walking, small hand weights

    totally changing the diest would be the #1 thing to do.

    swimming /walking / doin anythiung in the water would be the best for her, since her joints wont suffer, yet she can burn some great calories in there
