I started my weight loss last Thursday. I weighed 19st 8lbs. Need to lose weight for holiday in May. I work at an airport as Baggage Handler so get plenty of exercise. On the Saturday i had lost 6lbs, which i presume was water, but today, after sticking to a roughly 1400/1500 calorie a day diet i have gained 3lbs. Its very annoying, can anyone explain why this happens. Thanks

There are tons of threads regarding this...
it could be a number of things from water retention, high sodium intake, glycogen stores, constipation etc...
Don't worry about the numbers, you're on the right track.
Weight loss would be a much easier and more productive process if you lot just got rid of your stupid scales!!!!!0 -
Don't be discouraged! This happens all the time, especially when you start a change in your eating habits. Just keep hitting the pavement and iron and results will be gaurenteed. Also, 90% of wieghtloss is from what you eat. Eat less calories than your energy output and you will lose. Eat healthy foods not processed! Hang in there.
Add me if you want more encouragement.0
