What's the "proper" way to measure yourself? Exact spot on your thighs, etc.? I need to figure this out so I make sure I'm measuring in the same spot each time! :glasses: Thanks for any help! :heart:

    Well, it doesn't matter where someone else measures, just that you do it in the same spot each time. So try to pick something as a starting point. For me, on my thigh, I measure across a specific part of my tattoo. On my calf, I measure near a particular mole. Weird, I know, but it does work for the most part.

    As for what measurements I take, here's my list:

    neck
    rib cage (under bust)
    bust
    left upper arm
    upper abdomen
    navel
    lower abdomen
    hips
    left thigh
    left calf

    To some extent, it doesn't matter as long as you measure yourself in about the same spot each time.
  • I've been to Herbal Magic, where they measure you weekly. They would do:
    neck;
    I don't know where on the bicep, but I think middle of arm;
    right under the bra (ribcage);
    natural waist (narrowest part);
    hips at crotch level;
    thighs at hand height (standing with hands relaxed at your sides);
    and halfway up calf.
