Hi,
Sorry if I sound really ignorant but I'm a bit confused about the net calories on here? I've been logging how many calories I've been eating and how many I've been burning through exercise so I understand it's the sum of that but what would a healthy sum be?
Thanks for your help

That depends on your goal.
Examples:
You want to maintain your current weight - net calories then should be around the amount of calories you use up during the day without the exercise.
You want to lose some weight - net calories then should be less than your TDEE (TDEE is the amount calories your body burns in a 24 hour period, sleeping, working, exercising, playing and even digesting food, http://iifym.com/calculators/tdee-calculator/).
Let me know if this clears things up, i can go into more detail.0 -
No that's perfect thankyou! Was getting confused if it was similar to a calorie deficit but now I understand thanks!0
