I'm fairly new....

Hi everyone. I'm a 24 year old girl, 5'5" & lately my weight bounces around between 175-180. Through my jr & sr years of high school I was very active as I was on the color guard (with the marching band, not ROTC), so that kept me at a lovely weight of 130-135. Of course after I graduated, I got a desk job & wasn't very active anymore. Now here I am 7 years & 50lbs later, hating it. I've been on here for a while but I just recently started trying to be more diciplined. I've been doing pretty well with my eating lately but for some reason find it really hard to be motivated to work out. I'm hoping that by finally "introducing" myself maybe I'll get a few people who can help encourage me & hold me accountable. I really want to do this but I think I need help. Thanks for reading!!

  • Welcome! I am new too, I actually decided this morning to start trying to get serious about tracking my intake and exercise to hopefully maintain my weight. I usually pendulum 10 lbs and I'm starting to creep higher and higher. I'm 23, and just moved 1400 miles away from my friends and family and so I've been gaining weight steadily since the move.

    Feel free to add me, I am trying to find some more fun types of workouts, too, so that it is easier to get motivated to go to the gym!
